Thai Lotus is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. I always get the Pud kee Mao but my fiancé likes I switch it up sometimes. I usually get delivery and it's always perfect. My favorite Thai spot!
Loved the pho. Good cheap and quick meal
Food is really good especially their Thai Fried Rice. I love their bubble tea. The place could use a remodel. Not really the best "Dine-in" experience. Slow service but the food is worth the wait. Substantial serving size. I would recommend calling in your order ahead of time. Otherwise you will be waiting for at least 45 minutes (and that's not even on their busy night).
I had a craving for some awesome Pho. I looked this place up online found out they deliver. So I ordered a large beef pho and two fresh spring rolls and my spouse ordered their orange chicken. The food came before estimated arrival time which was plus and not only was it fast but it was very fresh! I will order again and again!
Food is above average quality, I actually enjoy it quite a bit. They are routinely unavailable to answer their telephone for carry out orders. I would love to continue to give them business, however I am unsure they are interested in operating like an actual restaurant. I have seen them turn away a party of 6 prior to closing hours. This is not a 1 off occurance, and after many disappointing SERVICE related issues I will be ordering from somewhere who will actually be willing to exchange product for money. Dine in decore includes moped parked in dining room.
Food is okay. Service is HORRIBLE. Whatever you do.....do not eat there. If you must eat their food, carry out. Waitress is absolutely the worst person to work at a restaurant.
Thai Lotus has excellent food. If you love Thai food or have never experienced it, they have different ranges of "heat" and tons of variety. We tried 4 dishes and now have left overs for two days!! Papaya Salad was great. Please do not review a thai restaurant poorly for having hot food, do your homework!
We were hoping for good Thai food, but unfortunately it didn't deliver. We ordered the Tom Yum soup with shrimp and the Panang Nua. Both were terribly over salted and over priced. The soup was the "hot pot" size ($10) and consisted of about a quart of over salted beef broth with a slight amount of chili, 3 small shrimp, and 1/2 cup of sliced button mushrooms. I can't image the ingredients cost more than $1.50. The Panang Nua was their version of Panang curry - typically a salty/sweet peanut-y red curry. The one we received was beige, thin as water, and tasted of salt - nothing else. To this they added cheap, stringy, thinly sliced beef and roughly chopped cabbage. It came with a pitiful cup of rice for $11. Again, the ingredients probably didn't cost 1/4 of that amount.Needless to say we won't be going back!
The Thai Iced Tea and Smoothie were delicious. However, the entrees seemed lacking in comparison to other Thai places. For example, the Kang Curry, while super flavorful, was mostly green peppers and onion. And the Pud Thai lacked the lime and abundant peanut that is present in most Pud/Pad Thai dishes...fish sauce overwhelmed the flavor. We ate a little...packed it up, and stopped at the grocery store to get the missing ingredients...squash for the curry dish and lime and peanut for the Pad Thai. We will be hungry in a few hours and will make it how we like it then.
Pretty nice place
I’ll try to keep this brief, because I hate being THAT reviewer and, honestly, why waste any more time than I need to. Of 2 entrées (the 3rd never arrived), 3 cucumber salads, and 2 appetizers, only the fortune cookie was remotely edible. Old produce, dried out chicken, and more sodium than the Great Salt Lake. Enough about the food, though, because that pales in comparison to the abysmal customer service Thai Lotus dishes out. The debacle that ensued, and time wasted over it, was enough to send me to my bully pulpit (as you can see).Buyer beware; you may be left feeling assaulted and salted.
Horrible customer service! They never check up on you or anything. Always too busy on their phone or laptop. They add way too much sauce in their pad Thai. Tasted horrible!
Get the kang curry!
Excellent food at even better prices. Most of the dishes could easily be two full meals for even big eaters. Still the best thai food I've had.
Very gwuuuuuuud me & my gf love!!!!
The customer service was horrible, the food was only a little better. We stood in the middle of the restaurant without knowing where to sit, later when we were ready to order, no came even after calling them multiple times. As we were finally starting to order the man told us the the "special" they had today was one of their best sellers. Therefore we ordered it. We took a bite, then spit it or because of the taste. Later the other two dishes we ordered we took it home, took a few more bites, then threw it away. I no not recommend this place what so ever.
This place used to be great. Food has gone down hill over the last year and tonight there was a baby cockroach in our take out. Never going back.
Fantastic food, but after receiving food waitress ignored us
Thai Lotus was a spree of the moment idea and boy did I hit the jack pot! There is such a variety here from Squid to Duck and everything ordered was made perfectly. Personally, I had the Yellow Curry Duck. The curry was a perfect texture and the Duck was mouth watering. My boyfriend chose a variety dish and had Squid for the first time to his complete pleasure. This is now our A number 1 spot for lunch. Additionally, the decor was adorable, waiter was the most friendly guy ever, and the price was amazing especially when you get A LOT of food for such a small price.
Good food but paid 1.50 extra to add shrimp to my dish and only got 5 pieces of shrimp 😕I hate to not support a local restaurant but this ain't the first this happens.
Great, really fresh food and fantastic pho.
Did not like my dish. Saw a post about food being fresh; however my dish was the exact opposite.
Superb.
Great food, large portions for a great price! I love their Basil chicken with medium heat. Amazing flavor. Very fast service too. Can usually get a to go order in 15 minutes. Love this place.
great prices very nice people. Great start to Phobruary
Well worth the drive from Delafield!!!
Good food great prices . nice that they fixed it up in side
Food has no taste and food delivered cold
Delicious food. Everything has such a rich sweet taste. I love the pad Thai and crab ragoon. Service is usually pretty fast and the food is nice and hot... in fact, I've burned myself a few times lol. Family run, so his servers are young. The service is OK but they're always polite. I love this place! I try to tip good because the food is so cheap especially for the portion size. I always leave with leftovers and a smile.
Excellent
Good food
The Pho is great, but their sausage appetizer is my absolute favorite. Very simple, but soooo satisfying. . .
Horrible service. Purchased two meals and a few drinks that came up to $33. They charged my debit card $333 instead of what it came out to be which was $33 only. The $333 got deducted out of my account so I'm patient waiting for it to get deposited back into my checking's account. I recommend anyone to use cash only if you go there. Their service sucks. I had 6 years experience in being a waitress never have I came across this type of issue with my customers.
Went here with my wife. I didnt like the food. They made a mistake in the order and even when they brought the right food, it didnt taste as good as other Thai restaurants in the area. The service was pretty bad as well. The neighborhood looked shady as well.
I had a good experience with the take-out. Came very quickly, and the portions were huge, so great value for the price! The Thai Lotus Fried Rice was okay, nothing special. But the Pud Prig Khing and Pad Thai was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Just so flavorful and good. Definitely will be ordering here there again.
Unfortunately the restaurant has since relocated, but I we would get food from here at least once a month. It was always fresh & flavorful😊
service could be faster!
Really good duck curry
Best Thai food in Milwaukee!
One of my favorite thai restaurants in town. I never had a good experience here over the past years, but since the transition of a new owner this restaurant has flourished. Great service, quick and friendly. Entries are great tasting as well. Nice and relaxing atmosphere to dine in.
Great food, reasonable prices, well worth a visit if you love Thai cuisine!
Food is FIREEEE !
Good service- tasty food with many menu options
Best quality, fresh ingredients, reasonable price
Very delicious Thai food here in the Reno area! I had the Green Curry with chicken. They give you a 1 to 5 heat rating scale, but if you're feeling extra spicy, they do actually take that scale all the way up to 10. Just ask!
They are open on sundays!!!!!!!!
